Resume
Nan Zhang is a Professor at the School of Optics and Photonics in Beijing Institute of Technology. He received his B.Eng. and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology and the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2012 and 2019, respectively. His research interest focuses on nanophotonics-enabled optoelectronic intelligent sensing and perception, with particular interest in AI with optics and photonics, hybrid optical computing, integrated Micro-Nano-Opto-Electro-Mechanical systems, and lab-on-a-chip devices for point-of-care diagnostics. He has published 32 journal papers, given more than 10 invited talks, and received 2224 citations and an h-index of 20 (Google Scholar as of February 2024).
